Terms of Service

Template notice for the site owner: these terms are a starting point, not legal advice. Illinois regulates towing heavily (625 ILCS 5/18a, the Commercial Relocation of Trespass Vehicles Act, and City of Chicago Municipal Code Ch. 9-92). Have a licensed Illinois attorney review this before you publish it, and make sure your posted rates match what you actually charge.

1. Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this website are starting rates for standard passenger vehicles in normal conditions. The binding price is the one dispatch confirms for your specific job before a truck is assigned. Additional work that could not reasonably be known in advance — a second winch line, dollies for seized wheels, extended waiting time, garage access — is quoted to you and approved by you before it is performed.

2. Estimated arrival times

ETAs are good-faith estimates. Traffic, weather, road closures and call volume affect them. An ETA is not a guarantee and does not create liability for consequential loss such as missed appointments or flights.

3. Your vehicle

You confirm that you are the owner or an authorised operator of the vehicle and that you are entitled to have it moved. You are responsible for removing valuables before the tow. We photograph the vehicle before loading and after delivery; those photographs are the record of its condition at handover.

4. Damage claims

We carry on-hook and general liability insurance. Any claim of damage caused during our service must be raised at the point of delivery or within 24 hours, with photographs, so that it can be compared against our loading photos. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, damage caused by the condition or modification of the vehicle (low ground clearance, aftermarket body kits, corroded frames, seized components) where we advised of the risk before proceeding, or for loss of items left inside the vehicle.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed in advance to bill an insurer or motor club. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and Zelle. Where an insurer declines or partially pays a claim, the balance remains your responsibility.

6. Storage

Vehicles left in our lot accrue storage at the posted daily rate. Storage charges must be settled before release. Vehicles unclaimed beyond the period allowed by Illinois law may be disposed of in accordance with that law after the required notices are given.

7. Cancellation

Cancel free of charge any time before the driver arrives on scene. Once the truck is on scene, a call-out charge may apply.

8. Police and private-property tows

Vehicles impounded by the City of Chicago or a police department are released only by that agency; we cannot release them. Private-property relocation tows are performed only under a written agreement with the property owner and in compliance with Illinois signage and notification requirements.

9. Website content

Content on this site is provided for general information. We may update rates, services and coverage at any time. The site is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes are subject to the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
